The Majestic Theatre is committed to ensuring that all of its patrons are able to participate fully and access events with dignity, respect and equality.
Wheelchairs - We have wheelchair spaces and level access to the stalls and the Box Office to the right of the main entrance. A bell on the wall by the steps alerts our staff to open the fire door for access. We provide four wheelchair spaces in the Stalls area with seating alongside most spaces for walking partners. You may transfer from a wheelchair to a seat on arrival as long as in the unlikely event of an emergency you are able to exit the building without the use of a wheelchair. Bookings for wheelchair spaces are through Box Office only.
Toilet - An accessible disabled toilet is available in the stalls.
Circle & Boxes - Unfortunately we do not have a lift to access the Circle and Boxes seating area. There are two sets of stairs up to the Circle and then steep steps down to the front of the Circle and the Boxes. Therefore it is strongly advisable for patrons who are able bodied to access this area.
If a patron comes to the theatre on a mobility scooter the patron needs to transfer to a suitable seat. There is limited space to 'park' it during the performance. Please discuss your specific requirements with the Box Office staff when booking tickets.
Assistance dogs are welcome, – please advise Box Office in advance when booking tickets.
